Abstract:In recent years, more attentions have been paid to the Dongying Formation of Chengdao area for its tremendous exploration potential in Shengli oilfield. The sediments are dominated by fluvial and delta sedimentary system, but the seismic reflection characteristics of sand bodies are complex; the lateral variation is large; and it is difficult to identify and evaluate the reservoir. To descript the reservoirs more effective, the high resolution sequence stratigraphic framework is established according to the isochronous formation framework. There are distinct differences between the lacustrine deposition and delta deposition in sediment characteristics and seismic response. Based on the cores, geological and geophysical logging data, and combined with the macroscopic characteristics of seismic attribution and seismic facies, the general range of delta deposition could be separated approximately from lacustrine deposition. The seismic reflection is relatively weak in delta area and the difference value of seismic velocity between sandstone and mudstone is small. The technology of waveform analysis integrated with 6 parameters is used to distinguish and describe the type of waveform, and twelve kinds of seismic waveform which corresponding to 4 primary sedimentary micro-facies are determined. At last, the method of neural network is used successfully to identify the sedimentary micro-facies.
