Progress and orientation of the project about fundamental geological survey on oil and gas resources in the periphery area of Songliao Basin

Abstract：In order to get continuous source of oil and gas in Songliao Basin, basic geological survey was carried out in the west, south and east of the periphery of Songliao Basin, focusing on the Jurassic, the Permian-Carboniferous and the Middle Proterozoic. The objective and content of oil and gas geology survey project in the periphery of Songliao basin were explained, and the key problems and their solutions and predictive results were proposed in this paper. The periodical achievements and the future work direction were also summarized.
